These agencies provide you with the people you need. They have sitters, homemakers and aides who all perform specific duties. If a nurse or skilled care is what you need, a home care agency provides that. Typically the doctor must be involved with setting up skilled services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, etc. The doctor should have information about these agencies.Or, you can hire an individual on your own. There are lists of healthcare providers that work independent of an agency. The Alzheimer's Association keeps a list of these individuals, but of course cannot recommend one over the other. What they can tell you is feedback they have received from other caregivers and their satisfaction level with certain care providers. When hiring on your own, treat this as an employer/employee relationship. Use an application form. Generic applications can be purchased from most office supply stores. Ask for a copy of identification such as a driver's license, social security card, and/or their certificate for nurse aide certification. And ask for a resume -- and references.Interview several individuals. Schedule a time when they can come to your home and spend time with your loved one. Notice how comfortable your loved one is and how the two interact. Include your loved one in the process. Ask about each interviewee. Individuals with dementia have somewhat of a sixth sense. Let them help you make the decision on who to hire.Depending on your needs, you may want to hire a certified nurse aide. They are trained to help with dressing, bathing, feeding, and setting up medications. They typically have experience in working with individuals with Alzheimer's. Also check for CPR certification, and get a copy of it.Once you've hired someone, keep a file of identification, certificates, and background check results. Orient your employee to your house and loved one, especially any special needs your loved one has. Explain daily routines and suggest things your loved one enjoys. Nurse aides can also cook and clean, but if that is all you need, a homemaker is more affordable. They can also sit with your loved one but can't do any direct care.A caregiver support group is a great place to get information and referrals to both agencies and individuals members have used for their loved ones.William G. And there is exactly no difference with costumes. There are many stores online which sell various costumes that come in literally thousands of styles, sizes and colors. You probably would not have as many options when shopping at a brick-and-mortar store. With the great number of online stores today, not to mention the new ones, which go in business everyday, you might find it a bit tricky to decide where to buy from. As a lot of online shoppers already know, the security of the transactions that you make online, including your credit card information would be a very crucial factor. It would be advisable to check how long the company has been in business online to know just how dependable a particular online merchant is. Because a lot of websites today are able to offer a safe and secure experience as you online shop, there is a good chance that you would already be dealing with a pretty reliable company. So you would then need to check the other factors like the quality of the merchandise, the reputation of the online merchant, as well as their price guarantee. Look for those online stores, which specialize in costumes to be able to locate the best costume selections. Now if you are planning to buy a costume, then a tip would be to look for costumes early online so that you would not end up wearing a inappropriate costume or no costume at all. Often known simply as Euros 2008 or Euro 2008. This year's tournament will be co-hosted in Austria and Switzerland. Both countries are steeped in culture and interest and will prove themselves as idyllic settings for the forthcoming football matches to be played. Some countries face disappointment this year as they failed to qualify but for those countries who have made it to the Euro 2008, anticipation is mounting as we draw closer to the event. Co- host's Switzerland vs dark horses Czech Republic will kick off the tournament, playing at Basel's St. JAKOB-PARK stadium (Capacity 42,500). The other Match, played the same day, will be between Portugal and Turkey in Geneva's upgraded STADE-DE-GENVE (Capacity 30,000).It's difficult to pick a clear favourite this year but the usual suspects will probably be there or there abouts come the Final in Austria's capital Vienna at the newly renovated ERNST-HAPPEL STADION (Capacity 50,000) on the 29th June 2008. Amongst the most likely will be current World Champions Italy, the much fancied France and the perennial underachievers Spain. Also no doubt Germany will confound the critics once again and get at least as far as the Semi's. My tip for Euro 2008 is Portugal who have looked strong in the last two major international tournaments and will be wanting to avenge their Semi Final defeat against Greece in Euro 2004 when they were the host's.For your general interest the Groups for this year are as follows:Group A - Switzerland, Czech Republic, Portugal, Turkey<a href=http://nnytorri.tripod.com>Nnytorri</a><br><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3395246712095737132-8434632262788227924?l=gonzo-films--wdenjtjgqsm.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Pros and Cons of Flash-Based Sites

ash-based sites have been a craze since the past few years, and as Macromedia compiles more and more great features into Flash, we can only predict there will be more and more flash sites around the Internet. However, Flash based sites have been disputed to be bloated and unnecessary. Where exactly do we draw the line? Here's a simple breakdown. The good:InteractivityFlash's Action script opens up a vast field of possibilities. Programmers and designers have used Flash to create interactive features ranging from very lively feedback forms to attractive Flash-based games. This whole new level of interactivity will always leave visitors coming back for more.A standardized siteWith Flash, you do not have to worry about cross-browser compatibility. No more woes over how a certain css code displays differently in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera. When you position your site elements in Flash, they will always appear as they are as long as the user has Flash Player installed.Better expression through animationIn Flash, one can make use of its animating features to convey a message in a much more efficient and effective way. Flash is a lightweight option for animation because it is vector based (and hence smaller file sizes) as opposed to real "movie files" that are raster based and hence much larger in size. The bad and the ugly:The Flash playerPeople have to download the Flash player in advance before they can view Flash movies, so by using Flash your visitor range will decrease considerably because not everyone will be willing to download the Flash player just to view your site. You'll also have to put in additional work in redirecting the user to the Flash download page if he or she doesn't have the player installed.Site optimizationIf your content was presented in Flash, most search engines wouldn't be able to index your content. Hence, you will not be able to rank well in search engines and there will be less traffic heading to your site.Loading timeUsers have to wait longer than usual to load Flash content compared to regular text and images, and some visitors might just lose their patience and click the Back button. The longer your Flash takes to load, the more you risk losing visitors. The best way to go is to use Flash only when you absolutely need the interactivity and motion that comes with it. Otherwise, use a mixture of Flash and HTML or use pure text if your site is purely to present simple textual and graphical information.eBooksAtoZ.com owned and operated by Colin Stables. What just a few years ago would have required you to lug a suitcase full of CDs around, now can fit in the palm of your hand. Some Ipods can carry up to 60Gb of songs (and now video) on a single miniature hard drive. The Ipod even looks cool and lights up like a magical glowing device. Besides Apple, numerous companies make portable Mp3 playersThis doesnt even begin to get into the phenomenon of podcasting. Podcasting is a simple concept with amazing utility for the average consumer. Imagine if you could take an audio broadcast of any sort (podcasting a teleseminar comes to mind) on the airplane with you on your next business trip.1)You dont have to be there when the teleseminar is held.2)You can pause it, rewind it, fast forward the teleseminar to any point that you feel is important.3)You can listen to it repeatedly.4)You can send the podcast to friends and family members who can also take the audio content with them on their merry way.I do this all the time. It works great. Download and go. This is bigger than you think. Overall, the ubiquity of portable Mp3 players is a cultural revolution as far as information transfer goes. Why do I have to wait for a broadcast when I can be in another time zone and replay it at my leisure. When you take your Mp3 player on the road with you, you are basically shifting time. No more sitting around waiting for the video or audio presentation to start. You can download it to your portable Mp3 player and start it whenever you want.Portable Mp3 players seem to be here to stay. Some have done extremely well and others not so well. During the time I was directly involved in running my business I found some weaknesses in myself that tremendously affected things that were going on. It was not uncommon for me, whenever something was not going well, to ignore it. Sometimes I would hope it would go away or I might ask somebody else to solve it for me, whatever was going on.As time went on I started to actually think negative thoughts about a certain staff member or staff members that I had difficulties communicating to. I would have thoughts that perhaps they should move on - why don't they just quit? If I wasn't happy somewhere I would just quit. Why won't they? As time went on these people would usually just end up leaving or I would be forced to fire them. As I learned more about how to better run my business I realized that nearly every one of these situations of the unfortunate firing or the employee quitting directly pointed back to my inability to communicate. Don't get me wrong - it wasn't as though I was completely and utterly responsible for what other staff members were doing that led to their termination, but prior to things getting so bad that somebody needed to be fired, I needed to act and did not.As an example, let's say that a staff member walks in 20 minutes late for work. As he walks in the door you glance in his direction. He now knows you know that he is late. But yet you don't say anything about it. Let's say it happens again the very next day and you notice it again. You see him coming in, and he doesn't say anything and you don't say anything either. After a while don't you think that employee will think it is acceptable to come in 20 minutes late. Since you don't say anything it must be alright. That's possibly just the first time where things were not okay with a particular staff member, but it created a license to kind of push the edge of the envelope since it didn't seem like you would do anything to exert proper discipline. If you just would have said to the staff member who came in late, "Hey, what happened? You're late." in a very friendly manner and heard what he had to say and just acknowledged it, that might have handled it all by itself and things would have been fine. But you didn't, because it was a little uncomfortable for you. Wouldn't it have been a whole lot easier to confront at that time than to deal with more serious disciplinary actions later simply because you wouldn't hold your position as an executive? When you have a staff member situation that you are not quite handling the way you should you usually go home and talk to somebody, like your spouse, about that staff member. You usually are not saying great things about that staff member, and you consider that he or she is not as valuable to you. Well, those critical thoughts and comments regarding that staff member will likely not get him or her to advance in the business. If you look over your time as a business owner or manager you may find that with any staff member that ever quit, you knew that they were going to quit before they quit. You start noticing that the more negative thoughts that you have about the staff member, the less likely they have a chance of making it. It is pretty interesting. If you start thinking that you have the best staff - that these people will do anything for you - and you start treating them as though it is true, well guess what? It will become true. But if you consider that you have staff that, quite honestly, are less than ideal, who won't go to bat for you, who are just trying to put in time and get a paycheck, versus being loyal and dedicated to the expansion and purpose of your organization, you'll get exactly that too.Usually you find how a business is doing based upon how the owner is doing. Is he or she happy? Can he or she get things done all by himself or herself? It is a barometer of you. If you are not doing well, your business doesn't do well. A very simple place to start is by considering that you have very willing staff members who are completely on the team, playing by the same rules as everyone else. When something just doesn't seem right, you should go to that individual and talk to him or her about that concern that you have, and you'll find that the practice will run more smoothly and things will be easier.Find out what really is going on, because that is part of the hat of being an executive. It is all up to you, as it always has been.Shaun Kirk is Co-Founder of Measurable Solutions Inc., a consulting firm engaged in all areas of business management. Here's how:For people who never carry a balance on their card from month to month, who, in other words, always pay their entire balance off each and every month, the interest rate on the card they use is meaningless. By paying off your balance every single month and never carrying any debt from one month to the next, it is perfectly possible to use a credit card as often as you wish and never pay a penny in interest payments. If you never pay any interest then it doesn't matter what the rate on your card is. It could be 1% or it could be 1000% -- it wouldn't make any difference. The Grace PeriodWhat would matter is the grace period on the card and any fees that the card has.A card's grace period is the amount of time that you can, in effect, borrow money for free. In other words, it is the amount of time that passes between the point at which you buy something (in other words, the point at which you borrow money to pay for a purchase) and the moment at which you must begin to pay interest on that purchase. If you carry an outstanding balance on your card from month to month then there is no grace period; you begin paying interest on a purchase the day you buy something. However, if you pay off your debt each and every month, and you are not carrying any balance from month to month, then you may have up to 25 days after a purchase before you are charged any interest on the money you have borrowed, and so the grace period becomes much more important than the card's interest rate.Steer Clear of Fees If PossibleSo for people who pay their entire debt each month, the interest rate on their card is meaningless. Fees, however, are another matter entirely. Regardless of whether you pay off your card every month or not, you do not want a card with a yearly fee. Most cards with revolving credit no longer have a yearly fee - but this is not universally true so be sure to check.ATM fees are one of the biggest areas where banks sock it to customers. ATM fees can be outrageously high. Whether you make it a habit to pay your balance in full each month or not, if you use ATMs frequently you need to know which cards have the lowest ATM fees. Some cards carry a monthly "maintenance fee." This is a meaningless term that banks have made up in order to simply charge a monthly fee for having their card. In this way banks make money off of every single holder of their plastic every month, regardless of whether they pay their balance in full or not. Try to steer clear of any card with a monthly maintenance fee.The Secret is to Shop Around & Compare Card FeaturesThere are a lot of credit cards out there. Each of them has its own fees and its own rate. The only way for you to make an informed decision about which card is best for your lifestyle and your financial situation is for you to compare every card head-to-head, feature to feature, fee to fee. And the only way to do that is to find a website that allows you to compare hundreds of different cards all at the same time.Remember, experts say that finding the right credit card as just as important as finding the right auto loan or even finding the right mortgage. So take a few minutes to compare before you commit - because it could save you thousands of dollars over the long run.My Recommended Site:<a href=http://blog-from-game33386.blogspot.com/map.html>Map</a><br><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3395246712095737132-6421581233372067599?l=gonzo-films--wdenjtjgqsm.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Heroes - Living Large on The Edge

life has many extraordinary stories. I drove a rental car up from FL to NY, the night of September 11th, to work the first week our country was under attack at Ground Zero.I served at the tsunami epicenter in Indonesia helping a Muslim young man rebuild his house. Our help imparted hope to his heart.I comforted genocide victims in Rwanda, where 1.2 million died during the awful bloodbath of tribal warfare that reached into neighboring Burundi. During numerous visits to war-torn Africa I conducted leadership training seminars and went so deep into the "bush" there were some places I visited that had never before seen a white man.During the 1999 war in East Timor (where over 250,000 have been killed over 20 years), I ministered to leaders in the devastated capital of Dili. Several months later the UN recognized East Timor as a new nation to be called Timor Leste. After 9/11 I journeyed to Pakistan twice where I ministered to Muslims and Christians proclaiming a message of peace and reconciliation with God. I was very warmly welcomed and suffered no harm, though the first time I spoke publicly to large audiences I wore a bullet proof vest because of warnings of death threats.I made numerous trips to Myanmar to speak to University students who were without proper education because the schools were shut down by the government. I visited several blackout regions, where foreigners are forbidden to travel.I lived in India for 9 months and have visited the great country 5 times, traveling throughout many remote villages and cities where I delivered a message of hope. I was privileged to speak to entire schools and large audiences of precious children, whom I encouraged to live their dreams!Paul Davis is a highly sought after professional speaker, life purpose coach, worldwide minister, and change master.Paul is the author of several books including United States of Arrogance, Breakthrough for a Broken Heart; Adultery: 101 Reasons Not to Cheat; Are You Ready for True Love; Stop Lusting & Start Living; Waves of God; Supernatural Fire; Poems that Propel the Planet; and God vs. Religion.Paul's compassion for people & passion to travel has taken him to over 50 countries of the world where he has had a tremendous impact. Now, the content itself is king, so long as it's NOT just a saturation of keywords. The top engine (Google) and directory (Yahoo) are much more concerned with providing their web searchers with useful, relevant, and genuinely informative websites.Today, content is king. It can not be stressed enough that having well-written, informative content for your website should be in your top ten list of concerns. Businesses who hire professional copy writers are already well aware that their site content is not only important to search engines and directories, but after a professional appearance (design), it acts as part of the first impression your website viewers will receive of your company. The Other NineBesides content, there are nine other ways to prepare your website for an increased chance of success in the search engines and directories.1.Appearances matter, even on the web. When surveyed, most internet users have mentioned that they do not feel comfortable buying or using the services of a company that has a poorly done website. Hire a professional design firm to create a look that matches the high quality of your products or services. Make sure your website is not overly cluttered, is easy to get around, and the graphics and colors would appeal to your target market. If you already have a website that has been up for more than two years, consider having it evaluated by a professional for a possible redesign.2.Page titles. Make sure each of your website pages has a title (at the top of the browser window) that explains what is on that page. Having no title, or a generic title such as, ABC Company, is of little use to search engine robots and your actual viewers.3.Description tag. Make sure that each of your website pages has a relevant description tag. This is also helpful to search engine robots as they scan your pages. The information in your description tag is often what a viewer searching the web will find in a search engine listing. Refrain from packing this tag with nothing but key words.4.Image tags. Image or tags are important especially if you have important image content (photos that need descriptions, maps, etc.) or your menu items are images. Website viewers who may surf with certain functions turned off on their browser are have visual impairments might not be able to get around your site without these alternate tags.5.Site Map. If you have a large site with many pages, it is important to offer your visitors a Site Map - a link they can click on that lists all of your site pages. Make sure a link to this page exists from your home page as it is also a great way to assist search engine robots in spidering (following and indexing) all of the pages on your site.Another site map you should create is a Google specific Site Map (see: www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/siteoverview). You create and validate this site map specifically to help the Googlebot spider your website pages.6.robots.txt. A robots.txt file is a special text file you create and upload to your website to tell search engine robots how to index your site. When adding this file, you also add a special line of code on your page (a tag) that the robots will be able to read. More information can be found at: www.robotstxt.org/wc/robots.html7.Links. It is important to make careful considerations when linking to other websites. Is the site relevant to your site? Does the site also have a professional appearance, useful or informational content, products or services? Would your own site visitors genuinely be interested in the content, services, or products? Many site owners fall victim to what is known as "link farms" - websites with no actual content and thousands of links (most not even relevant to your business). Linking to sites like these can actually hurt your ranking in engines like Google. Also, if you have a link page, be sure to keep the number of links under a hundred so that page of your site does not run the risk of being dubbed a "link farm". Finally, be sure to regularly check for broken links - both within your site, and those links that go to other sites.8.Blog. Blogging (Blog is shot for Web Log) is still an excellent way to keep your website content fresh and provide your visitors with useful information. For more information, see a previous article I wrote here: www.jvmediadesign.com/blog/blog.php?id=389.Compliance. The term Compliance is being tossed around more and more when talking about websites. A major retailer was recently sued because their website was not compliant for viewing by handicapped web surfers. It is important to review current ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Compliance Guidelines ( www.usdoj.gov/crt/ada/stdspdf.htm) and see how they might apply to your website. Government, financial, and education websites are especially vulnerable to compliance violations. The steps above can help you to not only prepare the most professional and user-friendly website that you can, but can also help your site achieve more exposure in the search engines and directories.Sherry Holub received her degree in design from UCLA in 1995. She is now the Lead Designer and Creative Director at Southern California firm, JV Media Design. Sherry is also a member of the AIGA and the Manchester Who's Who. This was an eagerly awaited port since I've been there before but wanted to take my girlfriend scuba diving there. We were worried that we might miss this port since the Caymans were hit pretty hard by the hurricanes and indeed, they had closed the islands off to tourist travel for part of the summer/fall. Fortunately for us, Grand Cayman had reopened just about two weeks prior to our cruise at the end of November.Getting to Grand Cayman is by tender since it had a shallow harbour. This can be a potential problem in itself because we were told that if the wind and waves are too rough, the captain would cancel the port and spend the rest of the day at sea. Apparently in the past, one of the tender boat workers had fallen and got crushed to death between the boat and the dock during one of the rougher wave days. This resulted in the cruiseships being much more careful in deciding whether to allow tendering or not given the conditions. Again, fortunately for us, the weather was picture perfect during the day we were in Grand Cayman last week. The downtown area pretty well recovered from the effects of the hurricanes and the shopping was business as usual. There were four ships at port during the day we were at port. Grand Cayman is above average in terms of cleaniness and the attitude of the locals for a Caribbean island. It is also one of the pricier island though. Bargains can still be found though, especially in the liquor where there are examples of certain liquors being even less expensive in Grand Cayman than even Cozumel. For example, Malibu rum was $10 US in Grand Cayman, $13 in Cozumel and about $19 back in the Miami home port. Everything else like restaurants and activities were generally more expensive than other islands.According to other passengers who ventured to other parts of the island, the damage from the hurricanes was more visible with fallen trees and some buildings still not repaired yet. A few of the organized tours by the cruiseship were also not available. We decided in advance to do some scuba diving off the shore and Eden Rocks Scuba Center was a 5 minute walk from the port. There are two decent shore dives right in front of their dive shop and we spend the morning diving the site called Devil's Grotto. Instead of paying $85 US for a typical Cayman boat dive trip, I ended up paying just $8 US for a rental for a tank.I didn't go to other parts of the island during this trip but have been to the turtle farm, Hell village and Stingray City before. They are all worthwhile sites to visit. I wanted to take my girlfriend scuba diving at Stingray City in the afternoon but for some reason, only the snorkelling sections of Stingray City were available that day. So after returning to the cruiseship for lunch, we went back ashore to do some shopping. We would like to come back to Grand Cayman again for a longer stay in the future. In summary, most of Grand Cayman appears to be back in business again after the hurricanes. It is one of the nicer but pricier ports to visit in the CaribbeanClint Leung is owner of Free Spirit Gallery ( www.FreeSpiritGallery.ca), an online gallery specializing in Inuit and Northwest Native American art including carvings, sculpture and prints. With a ringtone composer you can write very complex music and have it converted into a ringtone in about 2-3 minutes. That way, if you want a ringtone that nobody has ever heard before, or one that you cannot readily find, you can simply invent it.You can write very complex music in ringtone composer and have it converted into a ringtone in about 2-3 minutes.Cell phone manufacturers incorporate exclusive software just for the ringtone composing. Nokring is one example manufactured by NOKIA. Today cell phone manufacturers like Sony Ericsson are providing the very latest polyphonic ringtone composer in which mobile users need not enter all the notes of the polyphonic ringtone for a new melody. The latest composer mixes the notes resulting in pretty good melodies. Not all ringtones need composers. Usually ringtone composer will be available in one of the cell phones menu options called Settings or sometimes in Tone Settings. Just press the New Tone or My Melodies key followed by the Edit option to edit the current ringtone. Then get a Keypress sequence compatible with the ringtone compose. Finally, the same keypress sequence is typed in the same order. Now press Ok or Done and follow other instructions, if any. In some cases, you can adjust the tempo of the new ringtone, which is then saved. Generally its a good idea to delete a previously entered ringtone before replacing it with a new melody.Ringtones provides detailed information on Download Ringtones, Free Ringtones, Music Ringtones, Polyphonic Ringtones and more. There really is not any big mystery, but there are a few common sense precautions you should take before you ever click on any download ringtone icon. Here are a few hints to help keep your sanity during your hunt for the perfect ringtone, as well as protect your cell service and equipment. The very first thing to determine is whether or not the ringtone you are considering is compatible with your cell service and your phone type. Just as it is true that there are several different types of electronic documents out there, several formats for ringtones are on the market today. Before you begin to search for a ringtone, make sure you know exactly what format will work with your setup. This one simple act can save you hours of frustration and also help to narrow the numbers of websites you will want to investigate.Second, it is important to make sure that you download any ringtone from a secure site, and one that you can trust to be free of any virus. A sad fact of our time is that far too many people end up with a computer virus that is transmitted through what seems like the most innocent download in the world. Don't think that just because you paid a fee to join a ringtone site that you will not have a problem with a virus later on. Make sure that the ringtone file, just like any file, is checked for a virus and is clear before you complete the transaction.A third thing to consider is to have an idea of what you think you would like before you begin browsing. There are literally tens of thousands of ringtones available through the Internet these days. Without at least a general idea of what type of ringtone you might like, you can spend days sifting through all sorts of locations trying to find the right ringtone. Do yourself a favor and make yourself a list of types that would be worth listening to, and then begin to look around.Don't feel you have to grab a ringtone from the first place you look. Bookmark any sites that have a ringtone that you really like, and write down the file name of the ringtone. This will allow you to continue looking around, but still be able to come back to any that have caught your attention. By process of elimination, you can then narrow down the list to one or two before you begin pressing download ringtone, and pretty much be assured of having at least one that you will enjoy for an extended period of time.Craig Thornburrow is an acknowledged expert in his field. Considering the limited abilities of other creative trendsetters such as slogan t - shirts, bandanas, bright shoes, and assorted finger rings to name a few on the long list; mobile phone ring tones have made their presence felt loudly. They have, over a period of time, self assumed the responsibility of becoming vocalised style statements by announcing every time to the crowd of people within their vicinity , the personality of its owner. Mobile phone ring tones are all about the user and interestingly they are not as much for the user as they are for others. This once upon a time fad, has grown larger in proportion and fan following than most of the trends because of an extremely image conscious group such as that of youngsters for whom it has become a part of their persona. And therefore, what one wears has become so important. And of course, not even the most boldly emblazoned t - shirt can be as loud as an unusual mobile phone ring tone. With the way this industry has grown in leaps and bounds, it is only naturally supporting several other industries. Right from the entertainment industry, the marketing industry, to professional software creation and development industry. The tentacles of its influence are far reaching. Of the myriad big and small industries that have come under its cloud, the ring tone development software industry has continuously been undergoing evolutions. And rightfully so, with the mobile phone ring tones themselves having come a long way from monotones to polyphonic ring tones and the more snazzier MP3, WAV, et al versions.Scores of websites offer services for personalised mobile phone ring tone creation and editing with special effects. All at just the click of a button. Whilst, the basic procedures are common for uploading the file, opening it into the software that is already pre - downloaded on to the system, working with the length and special effects before converting it into a compatible format for the mobile phone; every website offers some premiums just to be one up on their competition. Create - Ringtone, although primarily is a software for developing personalised ring tones, offers other services such as wallpapers, designs, access to MP3 files, free sharing of files between mobile phones, et al. However, this software itself comes with a price tag, just like its counterparts. The softwares need to be downloaded on to the system and the average file size is 2 MB. Other popular softwares used for creation of ring tones are Make Your Own (MYO) Ringtones, MAGIX Ringtone Maker, Convert to RingTone Wizard, The Ringtone Maker, DJ ToneXpress, Kylix Ringtone Maker, Ringtone Media Studio, 1.0 Ring Tone Maker Factory, and Polyphonic Ringtone Wizard to name a few. All these softwares are prices anywhere between USD 10 to USD 30, with an initial free trial offer for a few days before purchasing the product itself. It has been reported that these softwares can work with files of almost all the popular formats such as MP3, WAV, WMA, and OGG files which can then be worked upon creatively and further converted to a desired format. These softwares allow for creation of ring tones from personal sources such as children's voices, random screaming or messages, live musical performances, or just the natural environment. To find out more and download free ringtones please visit free ringtones from miles and free ringtones tonight websites. And you couldn't help wondering how sick he really was to be doing something so unhygienic? Well, the next time you witness such ill - timed 'action to sound' occurrences, you might want to re - think the entire situation. A closer look and you will know when he looks towards his phone, that the 'cough' was actually his mobile phone ring tone! Talk about ingenuity!Mobile phone ring tones have come a long way from the standard beeps, ringing tones, the famous Nokia ring tone, to slightly pleasant sounding monotones; which were easily forgotten with the invasion of polyphonic ringtones. And now with the way this industry is burgeoning, ring tones have become a force to reckon with: videotones, ring back tones, sing tones, the list is endless. With so much already having been written and said about the way this industry is growing, it's not surprising to hear talks of taming it down. It's true. Ring tone etiquette is been taken seriously and people are being expected to brush up on their social behaviour in public places. Extremely loud and annoying ring tones often invite scowls from co - passengers on board trains and/or buses. More often than not, a couple of the annoyed co - passengers would think, "He blew up money over that?". The modern day definition of a ring tone, is something that clearly sets one apart from the masses ;and spares him/her the embarrassment of jumping every time a phone with a similar ring tone rings in close vicinity. Yet, the fact that individuals, in their attempt to stand out in the crowd, opt for ring tones that are extremely unpleasant and distasteful for a public environment, cannot be disregarded simply on the grounds of freedom of expression. Researchers have identified such behaviour as being incongruent with social norms. There have been reports of a particular behaviour in public places which has managed to successfully infuriate the majority of those subjected to it. It has been observed that no sooner has an individual purchased a new phone, or probably even due to lack of any constructive activity, than the individual attempts to go through each and every ring tone available on his/her mobile phone. And quite understandably this urge happens in public places and/ or long journeys that must be endured listening to what may seem like at that time, the world's most irritating variety of mobile phone ring tones. One of the foremost rules of ring tone etiquette, according to experts, undoubtedly is that fact that ring tones must be played out and tried only in the privacy of one's home.Recent reports have also highlighted trends within this industry that attempt to evade the etiquette rule book. 'Coughing' and 'sneezing' ring tones at meetings allow one to slip away easily without being too conspicuous. Some of the other popular ones have been borrowed from the environment. Natural sounds such as those of birds twittering, leaves swaying, and bees buzzing, only make it that much easier to alert the user of an incoming call or message, without actually attracting any unwanted attention.Although it's being persistently argued by ardent mobile phone ring tone fans, that ring tones are a personal choice that allow an individual to make a style statement; one cannot disregard the fact that style statement's cannot be made at the cost of another individual's comfort. To find out more and download free ringtones please visit free ringtones from miles and free ringtones tonight websites. The earth has a natural magnetic field and as humans we require this magnetic field to function normally. These magnetic fields make it easier for your body to do what it does and also helps your cells to work more efficiently.Magnets have been used over the years to treat general fatigue, pain, to heal broken bones more quickly, and to help circulatory problems. This natural energy helps to release endorphins into our blood stream, which helps to kill pain. The Space Program (NASA) used rats in many experiments in space and the rats that were not fitted with a magnetic field perished, and those that were, survived. In recent years research has been done to see if the use of magnets can be beneficial to our pets. The answer, of course, is an astounding yes. Magnetic pet therapy is making use of one of the universes most natural force. It is non-invasive, does not have any side effects, is easy to use, offers pain relief and is relatively inexpensive. In 1976 Dr. Kyoichi Nakagawa, the founder of modern day magnetic health research, published in the Japan Medical Journal, an article claiming that the strength of the earths natural magnetic field has decreased considerably and is being further reduced by steel buildings, cars, high voltage power lines and other manmade electrical fields. As a result people and animals are suffering from such symptoms as fatigue, aches and pains, muscle cramps and insomnia, which he termed magnetic field deficiency syndrome. He went on to further state that these symptoms could be alleviated by the external application of magnets to the body. How does a magnet work and what is it made of?Magnets are made of a combination of materials such as iron, cobalt, nickel, ceramic, aluminum and neodymium. They come in bars, strips and even beads. They are magnetized by placing magnets near a large coil of wire that has a great deal of direct electrical current being applied to it in brief pulsating movements. There are two types of permanent magnets, both of which are causing researchers and therapists to argue among themselves as to which is the best to use.The unipolar magnet is made up of bars or beads and has the north pole on one side and the south pole on the other side. The north pole should be facing the body and the south pole away from the body (the magnets are marked accordingly) when in use.The bipolar magnet, which is the newest one to be used, is made in long strips and cut to specific sizes with the north and south poles lying parallel to each other or in concentric circles. Both the north and south poles face the body of the person or animal when using a bipolar magnet. There is also another magnetic field, which is gaining use in the equine field. It is pulsed electromagnetic field therapy systems (PEME). It is a battery powered, portable device that generates a pulsating electromagnetic field that is used to treat chronic leg and neck injuries in horses and to do maintenance therapy on musculoskeletal conditions on horses. The strength of a magnet is measured by its gauss, a measurement of the density of magnetic lines of force.Therapeutic magnets range from 200 to 3,000 gauss. The higher the magnetic number the more powerful the magnet. The larger the animal is (horse) the larger the strength. For most pets 1000 gauss or less is normal. Why should you use magnets on your pets?Since magnets are so great in releasing the endorphins that relieve pain, magnets can be used for just about all degenerative pet diseases such as hip dysplasia, rheumatoid arthritis, vertebra disorders, sprains, lameness, tendonitis and more.Dr. Michael Strazza wrote in the 1996 edition of the Journal of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association that the use of magnets in the bandages of dogs with simple fractures healed 40 to 50 percent faster. This allowed the dogs to be on their feet sooner. He also was able to get a 60 to70 percent positive response when treating dogs with degenerative diseases with magnets.Researchers have found through many studies that toxins in the body cause many degenerative diseases.Where are our pets getting these toxins? From the daily use of products found in our cupboards that we do not even think about. Our pets spend most, if not all their time on the floor or in our yards. What is it that we seem to be doing most of the time?Cleaning and spraying. The chemicals in our cleaners, waxes, polishes and garden products are full of toxins. We as adults absorb some of these toxins into our bodies, but our pets laying in constant contact with these things we use, for the most part get an overdose. They are always licking and cleaning themselves. Formaldehyde is found in just about everything we use. It is a deadly gas and is found in drapes, couches, chairs, bedding, carpets, wood products and much more. It is no wonder our pets get sick and have degenerative problems.Magnets can be used to treat pets with arthritis, back pain, after orthopedic surgery, to improve performance levels for dogs in agility programs, obedience programs and show dogs that have to hold a position for long periods of time.Magnets can help in the recovery of extreme exercise by helping muscles to recover more quickly.Magnets can be used to keep the musculoskeletal system healthy and in good working order. Consider magnets as preventive medicineMagnets however, should not be used on fresh wounds, pregnant dogs, dogs with internal bleeding and certainly not on dogs with metal screws or metal plate implants.I mentioned earlier that that there were no known side effects and that is true. However, when you first start using a magnet on your pet or yourself, there may be for a short period of time an adverse reaction. You or your pet may feel worse instead of better. It is a type of detox as the magnetic fields are stirring up all those nasty toxins within the body. It is recommended that you and/or your pet drink a lot of water during that time to help flush out your system. The secret here is to stay with it, as within a few days you will see great improvement either in yourself or your pet.Magnets can also be used in conjunction with other types of treatment such as acupuncture, herbs, massage and anything else where the main goal is to alleviate pain and discomfort.Magnets are believed to accelerate the healing process by increasing the blood flow to the capillaries that bring nutrients and oxygen to the injured areas, remove toxins, help repair tissues and help reduce pain.As with all things, do not self doctor your pet, always consult your veterinarian or pet health care provider before attempting to try something new.How do you keep your pet magnetized? There are many products on the market for pets (dogs and cats.) Magnetic collars are one place to start, there are magnetic bed for pets, actual rug wraps you can wrap your pet up in, special wraps designed for shoulders, hips, knees, all designed to be flexible and made with adjustable Velcro closings. If all else fails you can hold your pet and hold the magnet in place for 10 to 20 minutes a day until the inflammation or pain subsides. There is no excuse for you or your pet to remain in pain if a magnet can help.I am always looking for additional information that will help our pets and give us as pet owners the opportunity to expand our knowledge in caring for them.
